Summer is right around the corner. The warmer temps have aided in boosting our fertilizer applications.

We tried a new granular product…Fertilizer, Herbicide, and Insecticide all in one bag. Its Shaw’s Turf Food. 

Fertilizer: 40-0-0 Slow release of Nitrogen.

Herbicide: Dimension, Pre-Emergent  

Insecticide: Acelepyrn, white grub control

It was applied on Bunker and Green Surrounds. (One pass around) A darker, richer green is evident and with the added herbicide, and insecticide overall Turf Health has improved. 

You can notice the difference.

The remainder of the Rough will be Fertilzed soon. (Different Granular Product)

Tree Update: The last of the damaged Trees from March’s Wind Storm were cut down today. Stump Grinding is finishing up and pick-up and back-filling follows behind.
